ABSTRACT:
Copolymers or graft copolymers of from 5 to 95% by weight of .alpha.-olefins corresponding to the following general formula (A): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents alkyl having from 1 to 16 carbon atoms or phenyl; and from 5 to 95% by weight of straight-chain, branch-chain or crosslinked 1,4-polyenes, and a process for the preparation of such polymers, wherein one or more .alpha.-olefins (A) are reacted with a solid catalytic complex based on TiCl.sub.3 and aluminum compounds corresponding to the following general formula (C):
