ABSTRACT:
Phosphate esters having the formula RO[-(A).sub.m (B).sub.n ] H wherein A has the structural formula ##SPC1##
And B has the structural formula ##SPC2##
Wherein the R groups are alkyl radicals, m and n are each integers from 0 to 4 and the sum of m + n is from 1 to about 4, are useful as flame retardants, especially for rigid polyurethane foams.
