The present invention describes a method for separating mixtures of aromatics and non-aromatics into aromatic-enriched and non-aromatic-enriched streams by contacting the aromatic
on-aromatics mixture with one side of a polyarylate membrane and selectively permeating the aromatic components through the membrane.
