ABSTRACT:
A resin coating composition comprising an epoxy resin derivative having an imidazoline ring functional group of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, each of R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sub.6 represents a residue of a carboxylic acid,
as a resin binder. This resin coating composition is useful for cationic electrodeposition coating.
