ABSTRACT:
Poly(arylenevinylenesilicon) compounds and a process for their preparation, where .alpha.,w-dialkenylarylenevinylene is reacted with an organosilicon compound containing two Si-bonded hydrogen atoms, in the presence of a catalyst which promotes the addition reaction of Si-bonded hydrogen to an aliphatic multiple bond.
