ABSTRACT:
Polishing judgment is performed using an algorithm in which an intermediate variable [K] is provided before judging a time difference between an estimated arrival time [TAT] of a packet and an actual packet arrival time [t(k)], and to which a unit is added. The unit calculates [K=TAT−t(k)], and compares the calculated value with a counter overflow judgment time [M] obtained from a sum [L+D] of a packet arrival permissible time [L] and a standard packet interarrival time [D].
