ABSTRACT:
A clip for holding an identification card on a pocket, lapel or other piece of fabric is a clam-shell arrangement of upper and lower plastic members molded unitarily with one another via a film hinge. A tongue from the lower member projects through an opening of the upper member to form a ratchet therewith enabling various fabric thicknesses to be gripped and the upper member has a separate stud onto which the hole of an identification card or strap holding an identification card can be pressed.
