ABSTRACT:
A pneumatic tire for truck and bus comprises a tread portion having a lug pattern, wherein an intersection angle .theta..sub.1 defined by a standard line segment passing a lug edge with an obtuse angle with respect to tread side edge and a meridional line passing the standard line segment satisfies an equation of 0.degree.<.theta..sub.1 <35.degree., and a lug groove wall located side the standard line segment in the lug is folded outward from a middle portion of a lug groove depth in the radial direction of the tire so as to enlarge the lug groove.
