ABSTRACT:
A pneumatic tire for a two-wheeled vehicle has a hard rubber layer having a Shore A hardness of 60.degree. to 90.degree. arranged along the outside of the turn-up portion of a carcass, wherein a ratio (a/H) is within the range of 0.1 to 0.7 in which (a) is the height of the outer end in the tire radial direction of the hard rubber layer measured from the height of a flange of a rim on which the tire is assembled, and (H) is the height of the tread edge of the tread portion measured from the same, and wherein the inner end in the tire radial direction of the hard rubber layer is located inward of the flange height of the rim.
