Protrusions11are provided in a buttress portion20, the protrusions11are composed of a center portion11aextending from the groove bottom4of the transverse grooves2toward the tire rotational axis and side portions11b, the center portion11aand the side portions11bare integrally formed, the side portions11bextend from the same cross-sectional height as, that of the center portion toward the tire rotational axis, the protrusions11extend at least to a virtual line22in which the inner most belt layer21ais virtually extended to the buttress portion20, and the width W of the side portions11bis 7% to 30% of the depth D of the transverse grooves2, and the thickness L of the protrusions11on the virtual line22is 1 mm to 10 mm.
