The device includes a housing, a locking and release mechanism, an electrical connector, an optical connector, and pathological circuitry. The housing has a top, a bottom, a front, and a back. The locking and release mechanism is attached to the housing. The electrical connector is attached to the back of the housing. The optical connector is attached to the front of the housing. The pathological circuitry handles pathological conditions associated with digital video signals.
