ABSTRACT:
A connector is provided having a pin plug with a plurality of first socket contacts for connection to system wires. The connector also has a mated socket plug with a plurality of second socket contacts for connection to system wires. The pin plug and socket plug can be coupled together for connecting the first and second socket contacts with pins secured in the pin plug. A short-circuit bridge is integrated in the socket plug for short-circuiting two of the second contacts when the pin plug and socket plug are uncoupled. An electrical filter component is integrated in the pin plug, the filter component being connected in series between one of the first socket contacts and a respective second socket contact upon coupling.
