ABSTRACT:
A plug detecting device comprises a circuit board, a signal processing unit, a connector, and a metal piece. The signal processing unit is installed on the circuit board. The connector is installed on the circuit board and electronically connected to the signal processing unit for connecting a plug having a metal outer ring with a first potential. The metal piece with a corresponding potential is electronically connected the signal processing unit and installed in the proximity of the connector. While the plug is plugged into the connector, the metal outer ring contacts the metal piece making the metal piece from the corresponding potential to the first potential, and that the signal processing unit confirms the plug has been plugged into the connector, so as to transmit or receive signals.
