ABSTRACT:
Connector plug comprises a housing having main body part and a separate terminal retaining member which retains the terminals in the cavities of the housing. The terminal retaining member extends into a recess which is between the ends of the main body of the housing and has retaining ears that prevent movement of the terminals from the cavities. The retaining member is releasably latched to the main body part of the housing by a latch arm that is contained within the main body part. An access opening is provided in the main body part of the housing to permit disengagement of the latch arm and removal of the terminal retainer part from the main body part. The connector is sealed and is relatively compact.
