ABSTRACT:
Provided is a PLL oscillation circuit that can reduce the variability of modulation sensitivity of a VCO101and obtain a desired output amplitude quickly with high precision. An amplitude detector103detects an output amplitude of the VCO101. An amplitude controller105controls a current value of a variable current source109so as to have an output amplitude of the VCO101detected by the amplitude detector103to be a desired amplitude. A LPF108is connected between the amplitude controller105and the variable current source109. A switch107connects or disconnects the LPF108between the amplitude controller105and the variable current source109. The amplitude controller105is connected to the variable current source109through either the LPF108or the switching switch107.
