ABSTRACT:
A platen roller includes a core member and a rubber member which covers the circumferential surface of the core member. The rubber member is arranged to have a hardness value of 95.+-.3, JIS A, at 20.degree. to 25.degree. C. on the basis of JIS K6301-5.2 and a rebound resilience value of 4 to 7% at 20.degree. to 30.degree. on the basis of JIS K6301-11.
