ABSTRACT:
A plastic pipe10is a pipe utilized in a cooling water systems, and the bonding strength of each layer is heightened, and resistance capabilities of the antifreeze solution are enhanced. The plastic pipe10comprises an inner layer22formed from either a polyphenylene sulfide or an aromatic polysulfide, which is a denatured substance thereof, an intermediate layer24,which is a mixture of PPS resin and a polyamide resin, and an outer layer26including a polyamide resin. The inner layer22is formed such that permeation of an antifreeze, which has mainly ethylene glycol, is less than 3.0 g/m2per day. The resistance capabilities of the antifreeze solution can be achieved by making the thickness of the inner layer220.2 mm or greater.
