ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the general formula I ##STR1## or their acid addition salts in which one of R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 is --OH and the other is hydrogen and R.sub.2 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl and R.sub.6 denotes hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, phenyl or benzyl and R.sub.7 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl and R.sub.8 is hydrogen, oxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -alkinyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.21 -alkoxyalkyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.8 -aralkyl, 2,3-epoxypropyl, an aliphatic acyl group with 1-4 C atoms or one of the groups --CH.sub.2 COOR.sub.9, --CH.sub.2 --CH(R.sub.10)--OR.sub.11, --COOR.sub.12 or -- CONHR.sub.12, in which R.sub.9 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, phenyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.8 -aralkyl or cyclohexyl and R.sub.10 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl and R.sub.11 denotes hydrogen or an aliphatic or aromatic, araliphatic or alicyclic acyl group with 1-18 C atoms, in which the aromatic part can optionally be substituted by chlorine, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy and/or by hydroxyl, or a group ##STR2## and R.sub.12 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl and X is --O-- or --NR.sub.13 --, in which R.sub.13 denotes hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl and A is one of the groups --(C.sub.n H.sub.2n)--, which can optionally be interrupted by --S-- or ##STR3## in which n denotes 0 to 12 and Y is one of the groups ##STR4## in which R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and X have the meaning defined above and R.sub.14 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, phenyl or tolyl as stabilizers for organic material.
