ABSTRACT:
A pipe joint1comprises a fitting10connected with a hose2, a flange20pressingly holding the fitting10inserted into a through hole21toward a block3, a bolt30for fixing tightly the flange20to the block3, a metal seal40having “C” cross section so as to seal a joined portion of a communication passage11and a connection opening3aexternally, and a first and a second O-rings50, 60so as to seal a contact portion of the fitting10and the block3. A projecting portion24is formed on a lower face23of the flange20, the projection portion24is formed at an area opposite to an area where the insertion hole21is formed with respect to a center axis of the through hole21, the project portion24projects from other portion of the flange towards the block3. A tip of the fitting10inserted into the through hole21projects towards the block3from the lower face23of the flange20.
