ABSTRACT:
A pipe coupling for connecting pipe sections fitted into opposite ends of the coupling which is formed with a plastics sleeve having tongues formed integrally with the sleeve on opposite ends thereof. These tongues fit in openings in plastics clamping rings at opposite ends of the sleeve and engage with sides of the rings to prevent removal of the clamping rings. The clamping rings hold sealing rings of rubber material around the inside of the sleeve for sealing engagement with the pipe sections.
