The invention relates to a pigment dispersion comprising: a condensate of or a salt between a polyallylamine and a polyester having a free carboxylic acid or the salt; a pigment derivative represented by the following general formula (1); a pigment; and an organic solvent,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?(P−X)−[N(R1, R2, R3, R4)]+  general formula (1)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein p represents an organic dyestuff residue; X represents a sulfonic acid group or a carboxylic acid group; R1represents an alkyl group having 5 to 20 carbon atoms; and R2, R3and R4each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
