ABSTRACT:
A piezoelectric component includes a substrate on which a piezoelectric resonator is mounted with supporting members interposed therebetween. The substrate is covered by a cap which is arranged to cover the piezoelectric resonator. A rubber-like elastic material such as a silicone resin is injected through a hole of the cap to cover the periphery of the piezoelectric resonator. Preferably, the Young's modulus of the rubber-like elastic material is not larger than about 12 kgf/cm.sup.2.
