ABSTRACT:
Piezo-electric ceramic transducer1has upper piezo-electric active layer5and lower piezo-electric active layer6. Upper insulating layer2and lower insulating layer3, between which upper piezo-electric active layer5and lower piezo-electric active layer6are placed, are disposed on both surfaces of piezo-electric ceramic transducer1in a thickness direction thereof. Two electrode pads8and9are disposed on a surface of upper insulating layer2. Electrode pads8and9are connected with upper electrode layers7aand lower electrode layers7bvia connection members12, and voltages are applied to upper piezo-electric active layer5and lower piezo-electric active layer6via electrode pads8and9. Insulating layers2, 3and4and piezo-electric active layers5and6are made of the same material as one another and are integrated by sintering.
