ABSTRACT:
The piezoelectric element20of the invention comprises a pair of electrodes2,3and a piezoelectric ceramic1comprising as the major component a solid solution of the two components KNbO3and BaTiO3. In the solid solution, the molar ratio of KNbO3is 0.5-0.9 with respect to the total of the two components.
