ABSTRACT:
A photosensitive element for electrophotography which comprises a conductive support, a charge generating layer containing a charge generating substance, and a charge transporting layer. The element comprises a polymeric binder containing a charge transporting substance represented by the formula (I). ##STR1## wherein n represents 0 or 1, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represent an aryl group, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represent a hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, provided that R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are not simultaneously a hydrogen, and when n is 0, R.sub.4 is not hydrogen.
