ABSTRACT:
This invention is directed to an improved photoresponsive device containing as a protectant overcoating a top layer of a crosslinked polyvinylsilicate resulting from the reaction of polysilicic acid with a polyvinyl alcohol having a number average molecular weight of from about 10,000 to about 100,000.
