ABSTRACT:
A photoradiator includes a notch at an axial end or in the periphery thereof in order to radiate light which propagates therethrough. Light is radiated in a desired direction and in a desired quantity at the notch. Even the optical propery of the light radiated from the photoradiator may be varied for a desired application.
