ABSTRACT:
The effective lasing lifetime of coumarin 102 in 50:50 ethylene glycol is gnificantly extended by increasing the rate of pumping and photolysis, with a flashlamp in a laser system having a pyrex ultraviolet filter and an inert cover gas.
