ABSTRACT:
Cyan couplers of the 2-equivalent type, useful in photography are described. These compounds are characterized in that they have at least one divalent group of the formula, --OCH.sub.2 CO--, in the molecule with a split-off group at the methoxy site of said divalent radical. Photographic materials and color developers incorporating these couplers are also described.
