ABSTRACT:
A photographic element comprises an ultraviolet ray absorbing polyester support bearing a light-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer, the support having adjacent thereto one or more contiguous non imaging layers between the support and the closest silver halide photographic emulsion layer said one or more contiguous layers containing a combined gelatin laydown of 2.3 g/m.sup.2 or less.
