ABSTRACT:
A photographic element comprises a polyester support bearing a light-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion layer, the support having adjacent thereto a polymer-containing subbing layer, the subbing layer having adjacent thereto a layer comprising a hydrophilic binder containing dispersed droplets of a high boiling organic liquid, the liquid being selected form the group consisting of oleyl alcohol and esters of organic or inorganic acids which have a value for the logarithm of their octanol/water partition coefficient (Log P) of from 2.6 to 6.7.
