ABSTRACT:
A photographic element comprising a support having thereon at least one layer containing acid processed gelatin and a polymeric mordant containing a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group and the total number of carbon atoms in R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is 12 or more; and X.sup..crclbar. represents an anion.
