ABSTRACT:
A photographic light-sensitive element comprising a support and having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing an .alpha.-diacylamino substituted (aliphatic acyl) acetamide yellow dye forming coupler and a method for forming yellow dye images which comprises processing a silver halide photographic emulsion with an aromatic primary amino developing agent in the presence of an .alpha.-diacylamino substituted (aliphatic acyl) acetamide compound are disclosed. The coupler is an excellent two-equivalent coupler.
