ABSTRACT:
This invention provides a photographic element comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer which is greater than about 50 mole % silver chloride, wherein the emulsion layer contains a thiophosphate ester of the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic, carbocyclic or heterocyclic group.
