ABSTRACT:
A combination of a development inhibitor releasing coupler having a particular releasable mercaptotetrazole group; a concentration within the range of 2.5 to 25 mg/m.sup.2, that does not accelerate bleaching of the element upon exposure and processing, of a dye-forming naphtholic or acetanilide coupler comprising a coupling-off group represented by the formula ##STR1## as described in the specification, with a particular alkoxy-benzoyl yellow dye-forming coupler also as described in the specification in a photographic silver halide element and process enables improved dye images upon exposure and processing.
