ABSTRACT:
A photographic element comprising a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer. The photographic element contains at least one layer containing at least one of the dyes represented by the following formula (I), (II), (III), (IV), (V), (VI), (VII) or (VIII): ##STR1## wherein Z.sub.1 to Z.sub.10 ; R.sub.1 to R.sub.24 ; L.sub.1 to L.sub.18 ; Y.sub.1 to Y.sub.8 ; Q.sub.1 to Q.sub.4 ; X.sub.1 to X.sub.3 ; Ar; h, m, p and r; and t.sub.1 to t.sub.3 are described in the specification.
