ABSTRACT:
The tendency of a photographically useful compound (PUC) to crystallize when dispersed in an aqueous medium is inhibited by codispersing with the PUC a non-color forming, oil-soluble, monomeric or oligomeric organic compound having a glass transition temperature between 0.degree. and 150.degree. C. Preferred organic compounds are oil-soluble sucrose esters, such as sucrose octaacetate, and rosin and derivatives thereof.
