ABSTRACT:
A photographic processing composition for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material. The composition contains at least one metal chelating compound formed from a metal salt of Fe(III) and a monoamine compound or salt thereof represented by formula (I-a') or (I-b'): ##STR1## wherein R represents a substituent; Q represents a group of non-metal atoms necessary to form a heterocyclic ring; X and Y each represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; L.sub.1 ' and L.sub.2 ' each represents an alkylene group; M.sub.1, M.sub.2, M.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom or a cation; and u represents 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.
