ABSTRACT:
An image acquisition device30includes a photoconductor48to convert an electromagnetic radiation into electrical signals, a first layer36or37coupled to the photoconductor48. The first layer36or37includes an insulator54and a plurality of conductors56or57embedded in the insulator54to conduct the electrical signals. A method of making an image acquisition device30includes the step of sandwiching a layer including an insulator and a plurality of conductors embedded in the insulator between a photoconductor layer and an electrode.
