ABSTRACT:
An imaging member comprised of an optional supporting substrate, a photogenerator layer, and a charge transport layer, and wherein the photogenerator layer is comprised of acetoxymetal phthalocyanine pigments as essentially represented by the formula ##STR1## where R is acetyl, haloacetyl, or mixtures thereof; R' is alkyl, alkoxy, cyano, halogen, or mixtures thereof; M is a metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, gallium, silicon, germanium and indium; x is 1 or 2; and y is 0, 1 or 2.
