ABSTRACT:
A photochromic flesh-colored pigment comprising not less than 90 wt % of anatase type titanium oxide having photochromism and a process for producing a photochromic flesh-colored pigment comprising the steps of adding iron hydroxide (FeOOH) to a composition containing untreated anatase type titanium oxide as the main ingredient, and calcining the mixture at 750.degree. to 850.degree. C. It is possible to exhibit a flesh color with a single color with a single pigment and it is also possible to change the color depending upon the intensity of light.
