ABSTRACT:
New photochromatic and thermochromatic compounds of the spirooxazepin-oxazine class are definable by the general formula (I): ##STR1## where the substituents R and R.sub.1 -R.sub.12 are as defined in the description.
The process for the preparation of the compounds (I) is described, as is their use as photochromatic and thermochromatic agents.
