ABSTRACT:
Topically applicable cosmetic/sunscreen/dermatological compositions, well suited for improved photoprotection of human skin and/or hair against the damaging effects of UV-A and UV-B irradiation and/or for the therapeutic treatment of a disease state of the skin or mucosae, essentially in the absence of photobluing/whitening, comprise at least one titanium dioxide (nano)pigment and an effective photobluing/whitening-reducing amount of deformable hollow particulates (microspheres) having a particle size ranging from 1 .mu.m to 250 .mu.m and which comprise an expanded copolymer of vinylidene chloride, acrylonitrile and a (meth)acrylate.
