ABSTRACT:
The invention is directed to the compound 1'-[2,3-Bis(hexadecanoyloxy)propyl]-d-glycopyranos-6'-yl-2"-(trimethylammo nium)ethylphosphate which is a phosphorylcholine-containing glyceroglycolipid useful for detecting the presence of Mycoplasma fermentans in cells or microorganisms.
