A phosphor having a high brightness after being exposed to plasma and a phosphor paste containing the phosphor. The phosphor comprises a fluorescent substance A1containing a compound represented by the following formula (I) and at least one activator selected from the group consisting of Eu and Mn, and a fluorescent substance B1containing an aluminate;in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?mM1O.nM2O.2M3O2  (I)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?[in the formula (I), M1is at least two selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, or Ca alone or Ba alone; M2is at least one selected from the group consisting of Mg and Zn; M3is at least one selected from the group consisting of Si and Ge; 0.5≦m≦3.5; and 0.5≦n≦2.5].
