ABSTRACT:
A high temperature, pressurized process is described to synthesize phosphonated acrylamide polymers represented by the structure: ##STR1## wherein X is from the group H, OR, Cl, Br, I, --COOM, --SO.sub.3 M, ##STR2## and mixtures thereof.
