ABSTRACT:
Flame retardant phosphonate derivatives of polyalkylene polyamines are prepared having the structural formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.5 can be the same or different substituted or nonsubstituted lower alkylene groups of about 2-10 carbons, or aryl groups of about 6-14 carbons; and R.sup.5 can also be haloalkyl of about 1-10 carbons;
