ABSTRACT:
Novel retinoid phosphocholines are disclosed having the general Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a retinyl or retinoyl moiety. The optical and geometric isomers of compounds of Formula (I) and the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof, are also disclosed. The subject compounds exhibit anti-tumor, anti-psoriatic and anti-inflammatory activities in addition to their inherent Vitamin A-like activities. The invention embraces the novel compounds, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of using the same.
