ABSTRACT:
A quadraphonic phonograph pickup cartridge is constructed with a tubular magnetic armature resiliently supported for vibration on an elastomeric bearing. Performance, especially at high frequencies, is enhanced by mounting a magnetic rod inside the armature on another elastomeric bearing that surrounds the inner rod at a point midway between the ends of this rod.
