ABSTRACT:
A compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl groups and lower alkoxy groups, R.sub.2 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, halogen atoms, lower alkyl groups, a hydroxyl group and a trifluoromethyl group, R.sub.3 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, halogen atoms, lower alkyl groups, lower alkoxy groups, an acetyl group, a carbamoyl group and lower alkyl carboxylate groups, and R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, a pharmaceutical composition comprising such a phenylguanidine acetylsalicylate compound as an active ingredient; and a process for production of aforesaid compound.
